RN Wound Care Specialist FT | Surprise Rehab

Responsibilities

• Coordinates wound care therapy into the total nursing care plan for patients
• Participates in patient and family teaching
• Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel
• Maintains standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• A current Registered Nursing License for the state in which the employee is working
• Certification from approved Wound Care Certification course (strongly preferred)
• Current CPR certification
• Two (2) years direct patient care experience required
• Prefer experience in emergency care, critical care or ET nursing
