RN - Women's Health & Prenatal Clinic

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, including obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints
• Administer medications, injections, immunizations, and treatments as ordered by providers
• Provide education to patients on pregnancy, nutrition, breastfeeding, postpartum care, and newborn care
• Assist healthcare providers during OB, gynecologic, and women’s health examinations and procedures, including prenatal, postpartum, and family planning visits
• Monitor fetal heart tones and perform routine prenatal assessments as directed
• Coordinate laboratory testing, ultrasounds, referrals, and follow-up appointments
• Support high-risk pregnancy management in collaboration with specialists
• Maintain accurate documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and manage clinic supplies
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control standards

Requirements

• Current Mississippi RN license in good standing
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum one year of nursing experience required
• OB/Women’s Health experience preferred
• EMR proficiency required
• Knowledge of nursing standards of care, prenatal and postpartum healthcare needs

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Proficiency in EMR systems and documentation standards
