Registered Nurse providing direct medical-surgical care in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Applying standards of nursing practice to enhance patient care and quality of life.
• Developing and implementing personalized care plans through assessments and the nursing process.
• Collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate care and set goals.
• Educating patients and families on health maintenance and comfort measures.
• Serving as a mentor and role model to colleagues and students.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to patient needs and demographics.
• Performing point-of-care testing and other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program or equivalent education.
• Minimum of one year RN experience (float or regional).
• Current RN licensure in the state of practice or a compact state.
• Certifications: BLS from American Heart Association.

Skills

• Strong communication, leadership, and collaborative skills.
• Ability to work in a safe, alert manner.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform clinical tasks, including occasional patient lifting.
• Proficiency with vision, hearing, and sensory perception necessary for patient care.

Schedule

• Night shift work, 12-hour shifts.
