About the role
Registered Nurse providing direct medical-surgical care in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Applying standards of nursing practice to enhance patient care and quality of life.
- Developing and implementing personalized care plans through assessments and the nursing process.
- Collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate care and set goals.
- Educating patients and families on health maintenance and comfort measures.
- Serving as a mentor and role model to colleagues and students.
- Utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to patient needs and demographics.
- Performing point-of-care testing and other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program or equivalent education.
- Minimum of one year RN experience (float or regional).
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice or a compact state.
- Certifications: BLS from American Heart Association.
Skills
- Strong communication, leadership, and collaborative skills.
- Ability to work in a safe, alert manner.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform clinical tasks, including occasional patient lifting.
- Proficiency with vision, hearing, and sensory perception necessary for patient care.
Schedule
- Night shift work, 12-hour shifts.
