RN - Women and Pediatrics - Full Time - Nightshift

About the role

2 East is a fast-paced, 26-bed Medical/Surgical, Women and Pediatric unit providing comprehensive, high-quality, and evidence-based care to a diverse patient population. We care for adult patients with a wide range of medical conditions involving the respiratory, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, renal, and endocrine systems, as well as those undergoing surgical procedures, including both pre- and post-operative care. The unit has telemetry capability and is proudly recognized as a Center of Excellence for Bariatric Surgery. Additionally, 8 of our beds are dedicated to Pediatric care, where we provide specialized medical, surgical, and trauma services to children and adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Care for adult patients with a wide range of medical conditions involving the respiratory, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, renal, and endocrine systems, as well as those undergoing surgical procedures, including both pre- and post-operative care.
• Provide specialized medical, surgical, and trauma services to children and adolescents in the Pediatric care area.
• Participate in shared governance and unit-based decision-making.
• Grow your skills with encouragement and support for specialty certification.
• Work in a diverse and specialized setting that includes adult med/surg, pediatrics, bariatrics, and telemetry care.

Requirements

• Education - ASN Required. BSN Preferred.
• Experience - Minimum of one year of experience in a hospital setting required.
• Licensure/Certification - Current license to practice as Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland, or if resident of a state that participates in Nurse Multi-State Compact agreement, holds Registered Nurse License from that state that is designated as "Compact" or "Multi-State Privilege" using primary source verification and provides additional documentation as required by the Maryland Board of Nursing. RN License from a compact state with a designation of "Single State" does not meet the requirement and nurse must obtain a Maryland license.
• Specialty certification preferred.

Up to $30,000 Sign on Bonus!

Schedule

7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Biweekly
