Registered Nurse (RN) - Full-time Nightshift

About the role

Select Specialty Hospital Oakland is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients. RNs play a central role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Extensive and thorough orientation program
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments
• Document timely and accurately using appropriate systems
• Interpret and document diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
• Participate in Rapid Response and code events
• Instruct and counsel patients/families
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License
• BLS required at hire
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Preferred qualifications include clinical experience

Pay

• Up to $52.00 per hour based on experience
• $3.50 shift differential for nights
• $3.00 shift differential for weekends

Schedule

• Nightshift hours: 7:00 pm - 7:30 am
