RN - Weekends / Korean speaker preferred

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires, and trains employees.
• Plans, assigns, and directs work.
• Appraises performance, rewards, and disciplines employees.
• Solves complaints and resolves problems.
• Carefully coordinates care and services.
• Improves organization and implementation of plans of care.
• Ensures proper assessment of all prospective residents.
• Visits clients at their home or in the hospital.
• Conducts quality assessment and assurance activities.
• Maintains 24-hour availability as a nursing administration resource.
• Provides on-call and telephone access or designates an alternative, qualified nursing staff member.
• Audits clinical records for accuracy and completeness.
• Develops staffing plans to meet direct care needs.
• Ensures compliance with facility mission and federal and state requirements.
• Participates in interdisciplinary conferences to develop adequate plans of care.

Requirements

• 1 year of supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• 6 months training experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
• Clear/Current Registered Nurse license in the state of California.
