About the role

The Registered Nurse provides individualized, goal-directed, patient-centered nursing care. The Registered Nurse assesses patients upon admission; plans, implements, and evaluates patient care; administers medications; and evaluates and documents patients status and progress. The Registered Nurse also supervises LPNs, Patient Care Techs, and other team members as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution
• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the Alabama Board of Nursing
• American Heart Association BLS certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire)
• ACLS and/or PALS certification from the American Heart Association (may be required depending on the nursing unit)
