About the role
We are seeking LPNs and/or RNs for St. Louis city and county to work in our Private Duty Nursing/Pediatric Nursing program. They may choose to accompany a child with medical needs (typically a seizure disorder, feeding tube, trach and/or vent) to school and/or help the child during evenings, weekends, and other times school is not in session.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality care to clients in their homes
- Accompany children with medical needs to school and other activities
- Implement procedures specific to a client's needs
- Work with clients to achieve their highest possible independence level
- Complete daily living activities as independently as possible
Requirements
- At least 1 year of prior experience as an LPN or RN
- Knowledge of home care services and procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Passport and international travel experience preferred
Qualifications
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license
- Pass background check
