RN, Virtual Expert Care

We are hiring a Registered Nurse to join our Virtual Expert Care Department at our Corporate Office. This is an onsite, full-time position.

Schedule

• 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts
• Work hours: 8:45 a.m. to 9:15 p.m.
• Includes a bedside shift requirement to maintain inpatient nursing skills

About the Role

The Virtual Expert Care Department is a collaborative team that allows experienced nurses to work virtually with patients and care teams at the bedside. This team of virtual nurses helps improve hospital throughput while enhancing the patient experience. Saint Luke’s leads in patient care by using advanced technologies to provide services.

• Assist the primary nurse in patient education and coordination of care
• Facilitate communication with care teams and families
• Use your experience to improve patient care and outcomes

Requirements

• 2+ years of inpatient nursing experience (strongly preferred)
• Flexible, adaptable, and positive attitude
• Team-focused and motivated by continuous learning and growth
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• RQI (Resuscitation Quality Improvement) certification
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas and Missouri (multi-state)
• Associate Degree in Nursing
