RN - Vascular Access Team

Role Overview: The RN - Vascular Access provides specialized vascular access care in a hospital setting, including dressing management, line insertions, and collaboration with dialysis teams. Key Responsibilities Monitor and change dressings; perform weekly dressing changes.Assess and determine suitable line replacements (central, midlines, peripheral).Insert peripheral lines and ultrasound-guided IVs; future insertion of PICC/MIDD lines.Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal vascular access management. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited nursing program.Current Illinois RN license and CPR certification.Ultrasound-guided IV training completion.At least 2 years of hospital inpatient care experience.
