Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the leadership and supervision of nursing services and staff to ensure compliance with all regulations and quality care standards.
- Serving as a liaison between nursing staff and the Director of Nursing (DON) to develop and revise care plans and nursing practices to ensure the highest level of care is maintained.
- Providing training and guidance to nursing staff in accordance with company policies and best practices.
- Participating in the coordination of care and overseeing daily nursing operations.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care.
- Promoting and maintaining a culture of safety and quality care throughout the facility.
Requirements
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Graduation from an approved RN program.
- A current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN in the state.
- In-depth knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines applicable to long-term care settings.
- The ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications
- Previous experience as an ADON, RN Manager, Charge Nurse, or Unit Manager is a plus.
- 3-5 years of nursing supervisory experience in the provision of direct care to multiple residents is preferred.
- Experience in Skilled Nursing environment is beneficial.
- Nursing degree from an accredited college is required.
- Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) is a nice to have.
