Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the leadership and supervision of nursing services and staff to ensure compliance with all regulations and quality care standards.
• Serving as a liaison between nursing staff and the Director of Nursing (DON) to develop and revise care plans and nursing practices to ensure the highest level of care is maintained.
• Providing training and guidance to nursing staff in accordance with company policies and best practices.
• Participating in the coordination of care and overseeing daily nursing operations.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care.
• Promoting and maintaining a culture of safety and quality care throughout the facility.
• Could work on the floor when needed.
• Could work on weekends when needed.

Must Have

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Graduation from an approved RN program.
• Current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN in the state.
• In-depth knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines applicable to long-term care settings.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience as an ADON, RN Manager, Charge Nurse, or Unit Manager.
• Leadership/ADON role at least 2 years.
• 3-5 years of nursing supervisory experience in the provision of direct care to multiple residents.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing environment.
• Nursing degree from an accredited college.
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC).
