About the role

The Registered Nurse Unit Coordinator at Sentara Heart Hospital is responsible for demonstrating proficiency in nursing practice for the assigned specialty area and providing clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. This position leads safety and quality initiatives, simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Nursing- BSN Required, or MSN Certification.
• Virginia RN License.
• All Direct Care RN's required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.
• Critical Care/IMCU ACLS within 1 year of hire.
• 18 Months of RN experience.

• Experience in a similar role preferred.
