About the role

Join the Solutions By Sanford team as a Registered Nurse (RN) at Bismarck Med Ctr in Bismarck, ND. This travel staffing opportunity allows you to make a difference in underserved communities while working 12-hour night shifts with a weekly commitment of 36 hours.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients.
• Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge, adhering to age and population-specific standards.
• Provide care for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up as they move along the continuum of care.
• Plan and coordinate care, perform patient assessments, deliver patient education, conduct triage, and execute various other nursing interventions.
• Function within the scope and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in the state of practice and licensure.

The Sanford Professional Nursing Practice recognizes the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements as published by the American Nurses Association as the foundation of nursing care delivery and professional conduct.

Requirements

• At least one year of RN experience.
• At least six months of travel nursing experience.
• Live at least 60 miles from the Bismarck, ND location.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (e.g., AACN, ACEN, NLN CNEA).
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practicing and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
• Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.

Pay

Salary range: $2,758 per week.

Schedule

• Shift: 12-hour night shifts.
• Weekly hours: 36.00.
• Contract duration: 14 weeks with the option to extend or transfer to another Sanford site.
