RN Travel Home Health

Amedisys is a large, trusted home health and hospice company where you can make a daily difference helping patients heal at home. This role involves regular travel between Duluth, Woodstock, Rome, Cedartown, and Cartersville.

Pay

Attractive pay range of $95,000 to $110,000 annual salary.

Responsibilities

• Travel extensively throughout assigned POD
• Coordinate and oversee all aspects of patients' home care
• Collaborate with patient care teams to develop and implement care plans
• Educate families on patient condition, needs, and care
• Perform head-to-toe physical assessments
• Check vital signs and manage medications
• Administer injections, IV therapy, or tube feedings
• Administer and maintain catheters
• Complete documentation timely and accurately
• Supervise LPNs and HHAs
• Regularly communicate patient progress to the clinical manager, physician, and care team
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Able to travel 100% of the time throughout the company by plane, train, or automobile
• One year of nursing experience
• Current RN license, specific to the state(s) you are assigned to work
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance
