Amedisys is a large, trusted home health and hospice company where you can make a daily difference helping patients heal at home. This role involves regular travel between Duluth, Woodstock, Rome, Cedartown, and Cartersville.
Pay
Attractive pay range of $95,000 to $110,000 annual salary.

Responsibilities
- Travel extensively throughout assigned POD
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of patients' home care
- Collaborate with patient care teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate families on patient condition, needs, and care
- Perform head-to-toe physical assessments
- Check vital signs and manage medications
- Administer injections, IV therapy, or tube feedings
- Administer and maintain catheters
- Complete documentation timely and accurately
- Supervise LPNs and HHAs
- Regularly communicate patient progress to the clinical manager, physician, and care team
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Able to travel 100% of the time throughout the company by plane, train, or automobile
- One year of nursing experience
- Current RN license, specific to the state(s) you are assigned to work
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance
