RN Trauma Medical Surgical FT Nights

About the Role
We are looking for a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Trauma Medical/Surgical Unit in Boise. The Boise Trauma Med/Surg Unit is a 16-bed unit that cares for a diverse patient population with varying medical and post-surgical needs. This unit offers exposure to more complex cases and opportunities for growth, including working as a Charge Nurse.
The unit operates under the Together Care Team Model, which includes Virtual RNs, bedside RNs, and CNAs, fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment. This structure enhances patient care and provides opportunities for professional growth into other specialties, such as Emergency Room and Critical Care.
Responsibilities
- Provides professional nursing care in collaboration with members of the healthcare team in the ongoing assessment, planning, and treatment of patients and families.
- Utilizes resources wisely while promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being.
- Works in a broad range of capacities, including delegation, assessment, planning of care and treatment, and teaching of the patient and the patient’s family.
- Provides hands-on nursing care.
Requirements
- A current RN license is required.
- Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
- At hire, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. (ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS).

Schedule
Full-time nights, three 12-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM). Self-scheduling available.
