Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care to patients. This position offers an opportunity to work independently and with a team of motivated professionals to provide ongoing collaboration and learning.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients.
  • Work independently and with a team of motivated professionals to provide ongoing collaboration and learning.
  • Provide high-quality care to patients and families.
  • Adapt to and communicate effectively with patients and families.
  • Show detail-oriented and excellent time management skills.
  • Work closely with other departments such as PACU and ICU as patients transition from these departments to 2000.
  • Manage the complex needs of a number of different surgical procedures and patients' medical histories.
  • Use technical, hands-on skills to address various patient needs, including those with multiple tubes, lines, drains, and wound cares/dressing changes.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including AACN, ACEN, and NLN CNEA.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, AACN, ACEN, and NLN CNEA.

Pay

$32.00 - $48.00 per hour

Schedule

Shift: 12 Hours - Night Shifts
Job Schedule: Full time
Weekly Hours: 36.00
