Responsibilities

Our Surgical Inpatient units are fast-paced units that include high acuity patients. The patient population includes TBI, Wound, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Gunshot Wounds, Falls, Psych, etc.; Trachs, Chest tubes, Wound vacs, multiple drains, & feeding tubes. Patient ratios are 1:4-5 and the unit has 42 beds.

The unit selling points include endless learning opportunities as you work closely with the treatment team to provide evidence-based care, flexible scheduling, significant comradery inside and outside work, 87% BSN prepared RNs, collaboration across all disciplines, and a dedicated Unit Based Educator.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year Med/Surg/Tele RN experience
  • Graduate of Accredited Nursing Program
  • RN license
  • Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role
