RN - Trauma Circulator

Join our team as a night shift, full-time Registered Nurse (21:30–07:30 with on-call responsibilities) at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK.

About the role

The Staff Registered Nurse assumes responsibility for the management and delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process. This position may be required to float to other units and participate in on-call status. Population-specific competencies and adherence to National Patient Safety Goals are required. This role reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president.

Mental Health staff must be able to assist with physical restraint of patients, utilizing the identified Behavior Management Technique System. Additional or varied physical demands and/or respiratory fit test requirements may apply. Potential for exposure to infections, communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals. Standard precautions must be followed.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and re-assessments of patients
• Development of the plan of care
• Implementation of appropriate patient care interventions
• Evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions
• Supervision and coordination of licensed and non-licensed personnel in patient care
• Provision of guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate
• Documentation of patient care

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire (Hospice only: CPR in lieu of BLS)
• Other certifications and competencies as required by service line
• Hospice and Employee Health: Valid driver’s license in the state where employed, available and dependable transportation, ability to drive an automobile, and proof of current automobile liability insurance
• INTEGRIS Mental Health: Valid Oklahoma State Driver’s License and a driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier (for operating INTEGRIS-owned or personal vehicles)

• Hospice only: CHPN (Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse)
