About the role

The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They operate within organizational policies, demonstrating professional growth, accountability, and maintaining high standards of practice. The nurse coordinates patient care activities among staff to ensure quality care delivery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program, with new graduates eligible to apply
• Current State of Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
• BLS certification required
• Preferred: hospital experience, bachelor’s degree, advanced specialty certification

Responsibilities

• The nurse assesses patient needs, develops and implements care plans, and evaluates outcomes.
• They ensure adherence to practice standards, coordinate care activities, and maintain professional accountability to deliver high-quality nursing services.
