RN - Surgical & Orthopedic Care Unit - Part Time

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Surgical & Orthopedic Care Unit in a fast-paced, 30-bed environment. Key responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care, evaluating care effectiveness, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. The role involves caring for a diverse patient population, including orthopedic and general surgical cases, with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6 supported by skilled Patient Care Associates. Qualifications include an active RN license, graduation from an accredited RN program, and certifications in BLS and ACLS. Physical requirements involve lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, and flexibility to bend or kneel.
