Part Time RN - Surgery Department

About the role

You will plan and deliver patient care in accordance with established Nursing Standards of Care. The role involves demonstrating initiative, clinical expertise, and knowledge to care for patients with complex needs, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team across multiple hospitals, providing diverse surgical care and ensuring quality patient outcomes. The position emphasizes professionalism, cultural competence, and a commitment to equitable, high-quality healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver patient care in line with Nursing Standards of Care.
• Manage assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for patients with complex needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across multiple hospitals.
• Provide diverse surgical care and ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate professionalism, cultural competence, and commitment to equitable healthcare delivery.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• Current MA RN licensure.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
• At least two years of ambulatory nursing experience.
• Surgical specialties experience preferred.
