RN SUPERVISOR PD days
Responsibilities
- Coordinate direct nursing services to patients in collaboration with unit staff.
- Coordinate nursing personnel services.
- Function in both a managerial and clinical role, ensuring adherence to and support of institutional philosophy and policy in nursing practice.
- Promote continuity of approach in both the managerial and clinical areas through collaboration with other disciplines and nursing colleagues on other shifts.
- Assume administrative duties, maintain levels of nursing staffing, and be responsible for patient care requirements throughout the facility.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York.
- Progressive experience in Nursing Administration.
- Strong leadership and administrative ability.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
Qualifications
Must be available to attend a minimum of one week of orientation from 8:00am-4:15pm.
Must be available to work a minimum of one weekend per month (Sat. and Sun.).
