Job Summary
Under the supervision of the PACE RN Clinic Manager, and as a member of the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) interdisciplinary team, the RN Day Center Supervisor:
- Assesses the needs, interests and capabilities of participants and works with Recreational Therapists and other team members to develop individualized therapeutic recreation plans.
- Plans, organizes, directs and participates in comprehensive care tailored to the general and individualized needs and limitations of frail elderly program participants of the Healthy Aging and Wellness Program, including PACE, Assisted Living, and Adult Day Services.
- Provides leadership, supervision and support to the Recreational Therapy team.
- Responsible for providing clinical expertise, supervision, and support to the staff, including direct clinical care, triage, family/caregiver education, oversight of Caregivers, and working collaboratively with an Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to provide holistic care for our participants.
- Member of the Interdisciplinary Team, pursuant to 42 CFR 460.102(b) and (d), as the Day Center Supervisor and backup for the Personal Care Attendant Representative.
- Responsible for day center coverage, services, managing risk, medication management, and overall programming.
Education
Associate’s Degree or higher in Nursing.
Experience
- Two (2) years’ experience in a social or recreational program providing and coordinating services for the frail or elderly within the last five years, one of which was full-time in a patient program within a health care setting.
Other Requirements
- Active Washington State RN license required.
- Active BLS upon hire.

Pay is determined by years of experience.
