RN Supervisor (Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm)
Job Summary
University Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to oversee unit operations and ensure high-quality care for residents.
Responsibilities
- Oversee unit operations, implementing policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective care
- Assist with treatment and medication administration, ensuring compliance with regulations and protocols
- Participate in Admissions, conducting thorough assessments and developing individualized care plans
- Attend and actively participate in weekly meetings with the healthcare team
- Conduct daily audits of new admission charts to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Serve as a liaison between family, patient, doctor, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and care coordination
- Investigate incident reports and follow up with necessary actions to prevent recurrence
- Manage staff assignments and ensure quality of care, providing guidance and support as needed
- Participate in weekly risk meetings to report on patient conditions and identify potential risks
- Participate in annual evaluations of staff and provide constructive feedback for growth and development
- Take on-call hours on weekends and holidays as assigned, ensuring prompt response to patient needs
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of Georgia
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting
- Prior administrative experience and training in both nursing and administration
- Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in gerontology and rehabilitation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
