Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day operations of various areas of Imaging, including off-site locations of the hospital.
• Handles staffing, scheduling, and monitoring staff performance.
• Provides staff education and implements/directs Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement activities for the department.
• Participates in department budget preparation and management.
• Acts as a liaison between customers, technical staff, medical staff, and other departments within the hospital.
• Provides complex nursing care, including monitoring and administering medications required during procedures.
• Performs related record-keeping and patient care functions, serving as a patient advocate.
• Ensures proper education and training for staff and patients.
• Demonstrates supervisory skills with creativity, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through.

Requirements

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• 5 years of nursing experience in a hospital (inpatient roles) or clinical (outpatient roles) setting.
• Critical care background and previous nursing supervisory experience (preferred).

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the State of Georgia or NLC/eNLC Multistate License (required upon hire).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required upon hire).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required upon hire).
