RN Supervisor - Contract

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our healthcare team in Waterloo, NY.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff during the evening shift
• Provide clinical guidance and direction to RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other care team members
• Maintain compliance with applicable healthcare standards and regulations
• Communicate with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals as needed
• Conduct rounds and assess residents/patients for changes in condition
• Avoid clinical concerns and assist with resolving issues that arise during the shift
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation and medication administration
• Aid in staffing, assignments, and maintaining appropriate shift coverage
• Promote compliance with facility policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
• Provide leadership and support to staff while maintaining a positive work environment
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities

Requirements

• Current and unrestricted New York State RN license
• Minimum 1 year of nurse experience in a Long Term Care Setting required
• Previous nursing experience required; supervisor/clinical lead experience over multiple units required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead, motivate, and support a nursing team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• A compassionate, professional, and dependable approach to patient/resident care

Pay

Pay rates starting at $50/hr

Schedule

Full Time and Part Time Evenings
