RN Supervisor-Cardiac ICU- FT Days

About the role

RN Supervisor for the Cardiac ICU, working full‑time days Monday‑Friday. Assists in the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care of designated areas; serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients; functions as a staff nurse as needed; assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager; performs duties consistent with Mercy’s mission, values, and Service Standards.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Licensure: Must obtain and maintain a current RN license in the hiring state (or compact licensure) and meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or successful completion within 30 days of hire.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in patient care.
• Physical requirements: Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. regularly; prolonged standing and walking each shift; ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Supervisor experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
