RN Supervisor

About the Role

Organize, oversee, and supervise nursing unit activities and staff assignments in a skilled nursing facility. Demonstrate clinical expertise aligned with nursing standards and respond promptly to patient needs.

• Monitor, document, and administer medications, treatments, and observe patient responses.
• Communicate effectively with team members, residents, families, and medical staff to coordinate care and address concerns.
• Identify and follow disciplinary policies when necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and vendors/services.
• Perform assessments following incidents or changes in patient condition.
• Lead and manage emergency situations.
• Maintain accurate reports, staffing sheets, and census records.

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in the state.
• Experience with geriatric, short-term rehab, or Alzheimer's patients preferred.
• Progressive nursing and supervisory experience advantageous.
• Strong commitment to compassionate, high-quality resident care.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, be flexible, and collaborate harmoniously with staff.
• Patience and a genuine interest in helping residents and colleagues.
