RN Supervisor

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations, and resident care standards
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Able to effectively manage and motivate a team of nursing professionals

Responsibilities

• Schedule and assign nursing staff
• Provide support to residents & families
• Answer questions and requests from residents & staff
• Maintain a safe & clean working environment
• Maintain resident confidentiality
• Plan, organize, and direct resident activities
• Review 24 Hour Report sheets with incoming and outgoing RN Supervisory Staff
• Coordinate services between nursing staff
• Administer medications and perform treatments, if authorized
• Conduct admission assessments
• Assess residents who have incidents and complete reports
• Record information about residents' responses to therapy
• Attend relevant seminars, conferences, and workshops
• Counsel employees and make referrals when necessary
• Take and receive reports regarding resident information
• Report adverse conditions, incidents, and emergencies to appropriate personnel
• Participate in interdisciplinary committees
• Oversee and administer disciplinary actions
