RN Supervisor

About the role

Join our team as a day shift, full time 0700-1530, RN Supervisor, at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Plaza Surgery Center, in Oklahoma City, OK.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement staffing plan for shift based on patient acuity, patient census and available staff.
• Serve as a resource to staff for solving clinical problems.
• Participate in patient and safety rounding and provides real time feedback to staff.
• Avoidance of actual/potential problems that may occur on their shift and sets shift priorities accordingly.
• Work collaboratively with nursing and ancillary staff to solve problems in a fair, consistent manner.
• Provide support, guidance and feedback to staff; Give ongoing timely feedback, verbal and written anecdotes, to staff on performance.
• Assist staff to provide a safe work environment for patient care.
• Assist in the preparation and implementation of the annual goals for the department.
• Consistently and independently follows established safety and infection control procedures. Intervenes in unsafe situations.
• The RN Supervisor Nursing's management of the delivery and documentation of patient care includes, but is not limited to: assessment/re-assessments; development of the plan of care; implementation of appropriate patient care interventions; and evaluation of appropriate patient care interventions.
• Reports to assigned Manager.

Requirements

• Maintain operational knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance for IACC program certifying and governing agencies.
• Shared on-call responsibilities as required for program operations.
• Participate in optimization of IACC program workflows, operational efficiencies, and clinical quality initiatives.
• Participate in program development opportunities related to marketing and outreach (including outreach clinics).

Qualifications

• REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• EDUCATION: Associate's degree in nursing
• LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS: RN (Registered Nurse) Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Oklahoma or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state BLS (Basic Life Support) Issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire

• EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in nursing
