RN Supervisor

About the role

The RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of Registered Nurses in a healthcare setting. They ensure that patient care standards are met and that all staff members adhere to established protocols.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to nurses to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Assess the performance of nursing staff and provide feedback and coaching.
• Ensure the availability of necessary supplies and equipment for patient care.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to discuss patient care issues and updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• At least 3 years of experience as an RN, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 annually.

Schedule
