Responsibilities

• Serve as the RN Supervisor and right hand to the Director of Nursing for the NOC shift (Full Time & Part Time).
• Inform the Director when physician visits are not made in a timely manner.
• Consult with the resident, their family, and the resident’s physician in planning care, treatment, and rehabilitation via teleconference or videoconference.
• Notify the resident’s attending physician and next‑of‑kin when there is a change in the resident’s condition.
• Visit residents daily to observe and evaluate each resident’s physical and emotional status.
• Ensure that direct nursing care is provided by a licensed nurse, certified nursing assistant, or nurse aide trainee qualified to perform the procedure.
• Review nurses’ notes to ensure they are informative, descriptive of the care provided, reflect the resident’s response, and align with the resident’s wishes.
• Provide direct nursing care as necessary.
• Start IVs and obtain sputum, urine, and other specimens for lab tests as ordered.
• Take TPRs, blood pressures, and other vital signs as needed.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as necessary.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of California.
• RN Supervisor experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) required.
• Sub‑Acute experience strongly preferred.

Schedule

Full Time & Part Time – NOC shift.
