About the role
Join our weekend leadership team at Townhouse Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing as an RN Supervisor. This part-time position supports high-quality resident care while guiding and supporting clinical staff in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule
- Part-Time
- Weekends only
- 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
- 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Pay
$55/hour
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to oversee daily nursing operations
- Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards
- Maintain adherence to all state and federal regulations governing long-term care
- Lead by example to promote excellence in clinical care and resident satisfaction
- Conduct routine rounds to monitor staff performance, address concerns, and reinforce best practices
- Assist in preparing for and participating in Department of Health surveys and audits
- Ensure accurate documentation and proper communication across all shifts
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted RN license in New York State
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a long-term care setting
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
