Responsibilities

• Build meaningful connections with residents and families.
• Guide and inspire the nursing staff.
• Create a warm, supportive environment for residents and their families.
• Offer valuable guidance and support to the team.
• Support team growth and collaboration.
• Lead the nursing staff in day-to-day operations.
• Function as the floor nurse as needed.
• Maintain regular weekend attendance.
• Supervise other employees to achieve resident care objectives.
• Maintain compliance with local health regulations.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed by the State.
• Experience as a Charge Nurse or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Ability to relate positively to residents, and families, and work cooperatively with other employees.
• Supervise staff in day-to-day operations.
• Function as the floor nurse as needed.
• Capable of maintaining regular weekend attendance.
• Ability to supervise other employees and work cooperatively to obtain resident care objectives.
• Meet all local health regulations, and complete a post-offer health assessment.

RN Requirements

• Current RN license in State.
• Up-to-date first aid and CPR certification.
• At least one year of experience as an RN in a Long-Term Care setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of MatrixCare preferred.
