RN Supervisor

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced RN Supervisor for our Wednesday, 12-hour shift (7am-7pm), no weekends required. This is a part-time position in a supportive environment that fosters teamwork, integrity, respect, and empowerment. Responsibilities

• Ensure proper medical management of each resident.
• Act as a liaison between physicians, hospitals, family members, and other medical personnel to ensure the resident’s plan of care is followed.
• Conduct daily resident visits to observe and evaluate physical and emotional status.
• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing activities in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines for long-term care facilities.
• Supervise nursing service personnel, ensuring medication passes and scheduled treatments are administered as ordered by the physician.
• Demonstrate independent thinking, staff supervision, and teamwork for the benefit of residents.

Requirements

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, patient care standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Basic proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Compassionate when working with geriatric patients.
• Preferred nursing experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting.

Schedule

Part-time, 12-hour shift on Wednesdays (7am–7pm), no weekends required.
