About the role
RAMAR – Men’s Residential is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Treatment Intake – Becoming a Client. This position involves screening potential clients, conducting intake assessments, and ensuring a smooth transition into our residential treatment programs.
Responsibilities
- Screening potential clients for admission to RAMAR’s residential programs
- Conducting initial assessments to determine client eligibility and needs
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless client transitions
- Providing orientation and support to new residents
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, social work)
- At least 1 year of experience in substance abuse treatment or related field
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of addiction treatment principles and practices
