RN Supervisor

About the role

The Center for Developmental Disabilities is seeking an RN Supervisor to join our team in Woodbury, NY. This position offers a robust benefit package and a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure comprehensive and quality medical care for all individuals at the site(s).
• Ensure thorough training of all staff on medical topics.
• Coordinate medical services.
• Assess patient’s health status and develop individualized nursing plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Monitor and document patient’s condition and response to medications and treatments.
• Initial certification/annual recertification of Approved Medication Assistive Personnel.
• Educate staff, individuals, and their families about health maintenance and prevention.

Requirements

• Valid NYS RN license.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Valid NYS Drivers License.
• Able to sit, stand, lift up to 50 lbs.
