About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to oversee staffing, clinical activities, and resident care in a skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities
- Organize unit operations and supervise staff
- Assess resident needs and monitor vital signs
- Administer medications and document care
- Communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, residents, and families to ensure quality care
- Provide emergency leadership, managing situations such as fire alarms or elopements
- Maintain accurate reports, staffing, and census records
Requirements
- Current New York State RN license
- Experience in geriatric or rehabilitation settings
- Supervisory skills
