RN Supervisor

About the Role

Organize, oversee, and supervise unit activities and staff assignments in a healthcare facility.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate clinical expertise aligned with nursing standards
• Identify and respond promptly to patient needs
• Monitor, observe, and document vital signs, treatments, and patient responses
• Administer medications and treatments as required
• Communicate effectively with team members, residents, families, and medical staff
• Manage disciplinary actions per policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and service providers
• Perform assessments following incidents or changes in condition
• Lead emergency responses such as fire alarms or elopements
• Maintain accurate reports, staffing sheets, and census records

Requirements

• Current RN license in New York with good standing
• Experience with geriatric, rehabilitation, or Alzheimer's patients preferred
• Progressive nursing experience in geriatric care; supervisory experience is a plus
• Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills
• Patience, flexibility, and ability to work under pressure
• Dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care
• Availability on weekends
