RN Supervisor

About the role

We’re looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse who wants to be in the nursing field leading and supervising others but not providing continuous daily hands-on care. If you are looking to lead and share your skills with others, this could be the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities

• Focus on care planning, providing guidance and expertise to ensure our clients receive top-notch care in the comfort of their own homes.
• Play a key role in supervising and supporting caregivers, helping to implement and monitor individualized care plans.
• Balance clinical and administrative responsibilities, using nursing expertise in an impactful way without the physical strain of traditional direct care.
• Create patient Plan of Care per Physician’s orders and ensure compliance.
• Implement nursing support for individuals in a home setting.
• Review nursing documentation to ensure Field Nurse is following Physician’s orders.
• Review MARs, verbal orders, medication profile management to match Physicians’ orders.
• Follow policies and procedures according to operation, state, and regulatory standards.
• Complete supervisory visits based on compliance and regulations, including review of plan of care, caregiver competency assessment, and completion of required documentation.
• Train for Caregivers and Nurses as required.
• Participate in staff meetings, in-services, and other meetings as required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
• No less than 2 years clinical experience, and at least 1 year in related management/supervisory role.
• Current or multi-state license in compliance with the state regulations.
• CPR professional certification.
• Excellent communication skills with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the company.
• Capable of working independently with highly confidential information.

Pay

Salary Range: USD $80,000.00 / Year
