RN Supervisor - Endicott, NY Evening and Night shift Absolut Center of Endicott We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our team at Absolut Center of Endicott, a CMS 4-star skilled nursing facility located in Endicott, NY. As a RN Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents and providing leadership and support to the nursing staff. Job Summary: As a RN Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing leadership and supervision to nursing staff, including Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). You will also coordinate and oversee nursing care activities on assigned shifts to ensure compliance with established standards of practice and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities: Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff, including LPNs, and CNAs Coordinate and oversee nursing care activities on assigned shifts to ensure compliance with established standards of practice and regulatory requirements Conduct regular rounds to assess resident needs, monitor care delivery, and address any issues or concerns Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents Assist with the assessment and management of complex resident cases, including medication administration and treatment interventions Mentor and support nursing staff, providing guidance, education, and feedback to promote professional growth and development Participate in staff meetings, in-service training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives Maintain accurate documentation and records related to resident care, staffing, and incidents Ensure a safe and supportive environment for residents, families, and staff members Requirements: Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with NYS licensing board Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a healthcare setting Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions under pressure Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred CPR certification required Compensation: $45/HR How to Apply: If you are a dedicated RN with a passion for long-term care and a desire to make a difference in the lives of residents, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
