• 2+ professional nursing experience, physician office (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Serves as liaison between staff and other areas within the facility and acts as an advisor to other disciplines.
• Affairs with personnel, supplies, equipment, and physical facilities for budget planning.
• Participates in clinical conferences, workshops, seminars, and related forums.
• Responds to and refers patient-related phone calls within a two-hour period, and call in prescriptions as ordered by the physician within 30 minutes.
• Supervises and participates in the provision of general nursing care activities.
• Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work.
• Selects and assigns staff, ensuring equal employment opportunity in hiring and promotion.
• Schedules work assignments, sets priorities, and directs the work of subordinate employees.
• Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques.
