About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team at North Lake Care Center, a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to providing sub-acute medical care, rehabilitation services, and 24-hour skilled nursing care. As an RN Supervisor, you will supervise a team of nurses, administer medications, and develop care plans for our residents. You will also maintain accurate records, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of nurses, ensuring that all care is delivered in accordance with our facility's policies and procedures
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for residents, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by physicians
- Develop and maintain accurate and thorough records of resident care, including medication administration and treatment plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure continuous improvement in resident care and services
- Identify and report any changes in resident status or condition to the Director of Nursing and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Florida
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory role in a nursing home
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and regulations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
