RN - Super Pool Women Services
About the role
Is accountable for consistent, safe, high quality care of all laboring patients assigned from admission to post delivery. Is familiar with vaginal and C-section births, fetal monitoring and provide care for patients who receive various types of anesthesia. Will demonstrate expertise in providing care for patient during PACU period as well as newborn care first two hours of life.

- Familiar with vaginal and C-section births, fetal monitoring and provide care for patients who receive various types of anesthesia.
- Demonstrate expertise in providing care for patient during PACU period as well as newborn care first two hours of life.
Requirements
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Must be an (RN) Registered Nurse in the State of Texas - compact or multi state license is accepted
- Associate Degree is required - BSN required within 24 months of hire/transfer into RN position
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years recent experience as an RN in Women Services in a hospital environment
- Participates in an on-call schedule
- Must have L&D experience - 3 years minimum experience

Must have the demonstrated ability to care for women of childbearing age and infants up to four (4) years old.
