Location: Mercy Hospital Southeast, 371 S Broadview, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701

Schedule

  • Full-Time (40 hours per week)
  • Shift: Days

Requirements

  • Master's in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of employment
  • 3-5 years of Cardiology experience required
  • Broad knowledge of structural heart disease
  • BLS and ACLS certification within 90 days of hire or transfer

Skills

  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities/demands
  • Ability to maintain detailed records
  • High degree of self-motivation and ability to function independently
  • Proficiency in Excel and spreadsheeting
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
  • Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply guidelines and policies
  • Strong communication skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with multi-disciplinary teams regarding the ongoing care and treatment of valve patients
