RN Staff Nurse - Medical Oncology

About the role

At Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center, our Cancer Institute Medical Oncology & Infusion unit is the designated adult inpatient cancer department on the West Coast. We care for complex oncology surgical cases, medical oncology (including chemotherapy infusion), end-of-life/palliative care, and autologous stem cell transplantation. Our team is diverse, supportive, and dedicated to continuous excellence in cancer care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate patient care while adhering to Legacy Health’s high standards for patient assessment, care delivery, and transfer.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, holistic care for every patient.
• Advocate for patients by offering education and emotional support, helping them navigate their health journeys.
• Leverage cutting-edge electronic health systems to accurately document patient information and provide seamless care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program as required by licensure. BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) is strongly preferred.
• At least one year of nursing experience, or completion of the Legacy Health RN Residency program (or equivalent program).
• Acute care experience preferred.

Pay

Pay Range: USD $54.37 - USD $81.21 /Hr.
