About the role
At Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center, the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) is a 22-bed unit providing specialized care for cardiac patients, stroke patients, kidney transplant recipients, thoracic surgeries, and those requiring home ventilators. With an average census of 16 patients, the IMCU offers advanced care in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate patient care while adhering to Legacy Health's high standards for patient assessment, care delivery, and transfer.
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, holistic care for every patient.
- Advocate for patients by offering education and emotional support, helping them navigate their health journeys.
- Leverage cutting-edge electronic health systems to accurately document patient information and provide seamless care.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program as required by licensure. BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) is strongly preferred.
- At least one year of nursing experience, or completion of the Legacy Health RN Residency program (or equivalent program).
- Acute care experience required; strong telemetry skills, cardiac and stroke experience preferred.

Pay
The pay range for this position is USD $54.37 - USD $81.21 /Hr.
