RN Staff Nurse - Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders

Responsibilities

• Participates as a member of the health care team in cooperation with and under the direction of the clinical manager or designee.
• Affirms the Legacy nursing philosophy by embodying the roles of advocate, communicator, problem-solver, and caregiver.
• Assesses, analyzes, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care following established standards for Legacy Health System.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, family-centered care in the outpatient setting of the Children’s Cancer & Blood Disorders and Peds Day Treatment Units.

Qualifications

• One-year registered nursing experience or completion of a nursing program equivalent in content, curriculum, and duration.
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience or completion of the Legacy Health RN Residency program or an equivalent program.
• Current applicable state RN license required.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
