About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) organizes and coordinates delivery of nursing care to groups of patients in compliance with hospital and departmental policies, protocols, and procedures. He/she provides direct patient care by monitoring physiological and behavioral status, evaluating patient progress and the effectiveness of interventions, and performing treatments and procedures. The RN recognizes, reports, and documents clinical observations.

The Registered Nurse participates in orientation, training, and management of personnel.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Alabama RN License
• BLS certification required
